5K on the Runway

Location & Parking:

The YMCA 5K on the Runway and Family Aviation Day will be held at Tri-State Aero.

Entry Fee:

The 5K registration fee is $20 before April 1, and $25 after April 1. To pay by VISA or MasterCard, use the credit card option located on the entry form or make checks payable to:

Race day registrations will be accepted from 6:00 to 7:30 am at Tri-State Aero on April 15. Entry fee is not tax-deductible and is non-refundable. All mailed entries must be received no later than April 12th.

Packet Pickup:

Runners and walkers may pick up their race packets at the Downtown YMCA on Friday, April 13, from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. Packets may be picked up on race day at Tri-State Aero from 6:30 am to 7:30 am.

Kids Run:

Give the kids the opportunity to make a quick dash on the runway! Immediately following the 5K, there will be a kids dash. The kids dash is free and open to all youth age 3 through 12. Youth runners will be given a special goody bag at the finish of their race.

Awards:

First Place trophies will be awarded to the overall male and female runners, overall male and female walkers and wheelchair event winners. Age group trophies will be awarded to the top three participants in the male and female age groups after taking out overall winners. All fully paid participants will receive a commemorative shirt. Walking awards will be given to the top three male and female walkers.  All athletes under 10 years old who complete the 5K will receive a finisher medal.

Results & Timing:

The entire field will be chip timed. Race results will be available online immediately following the event. Participants will receive results via email if an email address is provided on your entry form.
