Lifeguard Class

Are you getting ready for your first job, summer employment or just want to try something new? Lifeguarding is not only a fun job, but it is a great way to explore the employment options the field of aquatics offers. Lifeguards develop leadership, problem solving, decision-making and communications skills that are valuable in many areas of life. Becoming certified through this program focuses on water rescue, safety, leadership development and personal growth. Upon completion, you will be qualified to work at an aquatics facility as a certified lifeguard.

Guard Start

This is a course designed to prepare 11-14 year olds to take the American Red Cross Lifeguarding certification class when they reach the age of 15. This program helps participants build a foundation of knowledge, attitudes, and skills that they will need to be responsible lifeguards. This course is offered year round.
