Before and After School Care

With so many demands on today’s families, parents need all the help they can get. That’s why we’re America’s largest nonprofit child care provider! We help thousands of children every day reach their fullest potential in a welcoming, supportive environment. By incorporating the values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility into all of our youth services programming. We give children the solid foundation they need to thrive—not only in school, but beyond. Our School Age Child Care Programs ensure that your child’s time is spent creatively and constructively.You can feel confident knowing that your child is safe and well cared for by highly qualified staff. All of our staff are CPR and First Aid certified and we meet or exceed state staff-to-child ratios.Before and After School Child Care Program is available for children who need care before school and/or after school. Children may attend before school from 6:30 am until school starts and from the end of the school day until 6:00 pm

Snow Day Care

The YMCA now offers an option for working parents caught in a dilemma on days when school is canceled due to snow and ice. We offer supervised games, swim time, open gym, and activities in our youth center for school age children (K-6). Each child should bring a sack lunch, swim suit, and towel daily.

Location: Downtown YMCA
Registration: Spots are limited. A $15 non-refundable registration fee is required to reserve your spot for any snow day session. Registration begins at the start of each school year.
