The Downtown YMCA will be launching the Rock Steady Boxing program for Parkinson’s patients this month. ¬†We are the first YMCA in the country to offer the program, which got its start in Indianapolis.
The YMCA Sports Academy is now registering for the following fall youth sports leagues:
Flag Football (3-11 yr old)
Instructional Baseball (3-4 yr old)
Pee Wee T-Ball (5-6 yr old)
Minors Softball (7-9 yr old)
Fundamentals Basketball (3-11 yr old)
Cheerleading (3-11 yr old)
Fundamentals Soccer (3-11 yr old)
Competitive Soccer (5th-8th grade)
Sports league youth participants receive weekly games, a weekly one-hour instructor-led practice session, instructor coach, league t-shirt and awards.
